All newly hired student employees and GAs with a start date of Aug. 16 must report to one of the following locations on Aug. 16 (or by Aug. 18 at the latest) with the required documentation to complete Section 2 of the I-9 form.

Regular campus locations for I-9 Verification:

• Human Resources Building (1515 West Lincoln Highway): 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• HRS Service Center (Swen Parson Hall, room 110): 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Additional satellite locations for student I-9 verification:

HRS has partnered with several departments to expand the availability of I-9 verification for graduate students on campus from Aug. 3 through Sept. 8:

• Academic Affairs, Altgeld Hall 215, 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday through Aug. 19, then 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Aug. 22.  
• The Graduate School, Williston Hall 100, 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Founders Memorial Library Circulation Desk, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Dining Services, Holmes Student Center 118, 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 5 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, except for Aug. 10-16 when this location will only offer verification from 7 to 9 a.m.

Students with a start date of Aug. 16 who do not present their I-9 documentation by Aug. 18 will be removed from the payroll system until this requirement is complete.
