DESCRIPTION:NIU Institutional Communications will be offering free environm
 ental portraits to faculty and staff on Tuesday\, October 17 from 9 a.m. – 
 3 p.m. in the MLK Commons by The Balance of Equality sculpture.\n\nIn order
  to provide the most flexibility for everyone we will not be scheduling app
 ointments. Portraits will be taken on a first come first serve basis. In th
 e event of rain the open portrait session will be moved to a future date.\n
 \nWe recommend you wear professional attire that makes you feel comfortable
  and confident. Dress casually if your line of work calls for it\, or feel 
 free to dress more formally. Choose solid colors and avoid busy patterns\, 
 obvious brand names or other university names. For more examples\, you can 
 check out other faculty portraits in NIU’s Experts Guide.\n \nA link to you
 r photographs will be sent in 10 - 14 business days. We would also like to 
 invite all faculty and staff to share your story with the NIU community. Pl
