ETT 592-03 Special Topic: Computational Thinking in Educational Robotics (1 Credit)

Computational thinking is solving problem like computer scientists. Many believe that computational thinking is closely related to problem solving. The special topic on computational thinking in educational robotics enables learners to develop their computational thinking skills by manipulating one electronic gadget and one mini robot.

Specifically, students at this course can:

  • Understand current research trends of computational thinking in education
  • Understand the concepts of computational thinking
  • Demonstrate computational thinking by using electronic tools
  • Applying computational thinking to educational robotics

This one credit course is being taught by visiting professor, Dr. Pao-Nan Chou
