Early Voting for the General Election in Illinois
If you are registered to vote in DeKalb, you can cast your early vote in-person at Holmes Student Center in the Gallery Lounge.
Remember, if you completed your voter registration online, you'll need to bring your state ID or driver's license with you to vote.
If you have not registered to vote, but are an eligible voter, you can register to vote at in person at the Holmes Student Center. If you choose this option, you will need to cast your vote on the same day, have two forms of ID, one of which includes your DeKalb County address.
Acceptable forms of ID are:
- Driver’s License
- Medicare Card/Public Aid Card
- State I.D.
- Mortgage or Lease
- Bank Statement
- Passport
- Birth Certificate
- Payroll Check
- Car Registration
- Piece of mail dated within the last 30 days
- Credit/Debit Card
- Pre-printed Check
- Employee I.D.
- School I.D. Card
- Firearm Owner’s Card
- Social Security Card
- Library Card
- Utility Bill, dated within the last 30 days
