Dr. Krsten CiCerbo, Professor at Khan Academy will give a lecture entitled "Promises and Pitfalls of AI in Education."

As the Chief Learning Officer at Khan Academy since 2020, Dr. Kristen DiCerbo drives the organization’s teaching and learning strategy, leading teams in content, design, product management, and community support. She previously served as Vice-President of Learning Research & Design at Pearson, where she led a team focused on integrating learning research into digital product design and advancing learning science. Dr.DiCerbo’s experience includes roles at Cisco Networking Academy and as a School Psychologist. An adjunct faculty member at several universities, she has published extensively and is recognized as a thought leader in educational psychology. Dr. DiCerbo holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Arizona State University.
