She will be joining NIU School of Music’s Chamni Sripraram for the CSEAS Friday Lecture Series to present their project, Thai American for the Future (TAFF), a non-profit organization providing children in the Midwest “an outlet for the awareness of Thai-American concerns and empowering the Thai-American community to foster lasting relationships” (TAFF Facebook page). Sripraram and Dhamavasi are organizing an immersion program next summer in Thailand. The Cultural Immersion Thailand Summer Camp is offered every other year for Thai American children and parents.
