Transitioning to the Adult World

Connecting the dots for young adults with autism

After high school, youth with autism often struggle to build successful pathways to
productive futures. It can be challenging to find services that support those journeys to
adulthood. How can families, teachers, employers and the community support young
adults with autism in a successful shift from school to the community while also promoting
meaningful employment, living and learning in their communities? Find out what strategies
others have used to create innovative approaches and supports.
