Huskies! If you’re graduating in December, make sure to join us for Gradpalooza, a celebratory event where you can participate in fun activities, learn more about our commencement ceremony and connect with other graduating Huskies. Your family and friends are welcome to attend.

Gradpalooza will be held from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4 in the lower level of Holmes Student Center, across from Starbucks.

• Enjoy cake as we celebrate you!
• Capture memorable moments with NIU's photographers; special guest appearances from NIU mascots and leadership between 3-5 p.m. Feel free to bring or wear your cap and gown. Grad Images also will be there to take formal cap and gown photos that you can purchase at a later date.
• Decorate your graduation cap. Whether you want to go bold with glitter, keep it classy with calligraphy, or add a personal touch with meaningful symbols, we’ve got you covered.
• Check out the NIU Alumni Association and get a free NIU alumni license plate frame when you update your information. Graduate cords are available for a $20.25 donation. You can donate now and reserve your graduate cords and pick them up during Gradpalooza.
• Share your gratitude with your favorite professor or NIU staff member and write a note of encouragement for incoming students at our notes table.
• Write notes of encouragement that will be shared with incoming Huskies.
• Stop by our know-before-you-go information table. Staff will be available to help answer your questions about your commencement ceremony, logistics and more.
• Visit the NIU bookstore to purchase graduate signs and gear.
