This workshop will pick up where the previous one (November 4, 2022) left off. Sones de Mexico Ensemble music director Victor Pichardo (arranger) and percussionist Eric Hines will lead a hands-on master class surveying distinct regional styles of "banda" music from Mexico, including Sinaloa, Zacatecas, Morelos, Oaxaca, and Yucatan. This workshop is open to the public, especially brass, horn and percussion instrumentalists with intermediate/advanced music reading skills.
