Sones de Mexico Ensemble music director Victor Pichardo (arranger) and percussionist Eric Hines will lead a hands-on master class surveying distinct regional styles of "banda" music from Mexico, including Sinaloa, Zacatecas, Morelos, Oaxaca, and Yucatan. Open to the public, especially brass, horn and percussion instrumentalists with intermediate/advanced music reading skills. Part 2 will take place on November 17, 2022.
