This concert will feature the winner of the 2026 Arthur D. Montzka Young Artists Concerto Competition. In addition, the concert will include a KSO premiere: the music of Adophus Hailstork with a piece that commemorates the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. “Epitaph for a Man Who Dreamed." Also on the program will be Felix Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3, the “Scottish” Symphony. The concert is sponsored in part by Annette and Jerry Johns. All students will be admitted at no charge.
