Art History Lecture - Sentimental Histories: Chen Hongshu and the representation of emotion in late Imperial Chinese Painting

Anne Burkus-Chasson is a professor of art history at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. An expert in Chinese art history, Burkus-Chasson has published two books, won numerous awards and has more than 25 years of experience in the field.  This lecture is free, open to the public and is part of the annual Elizabeth Allen Visiting Scholars in Art History series and is also sponsored by the School of Art and Design.
