Americans in Burma: Collecting and Collectors Symposium
Founders Memorial Library, Room 71-N (Lower Level)
9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., open to the public.
Refreshments will be provided.
Join us to listen to scholars, curators, donors, and NIU alumni speak about their connections to the Burma Art Collection, housed at Founders Memorial Library and cared for by the Center for Burma Studies. It is the largest collection of Burmese Art and material culture in the United States, and one that represents the lives of Americans who lived in Burma in the 20th century.
