HARVARD, IL – From September 8^th to 11^th, the Harvard Chamber of Commerce & Industry will host the American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) at Milky Way Park (300 Lawrence Road, Harvard, IL, 60033).

AVTT was founded in 1998. In 2005, Retired Lieutenant Colonel Don Allen, U.S. Army, and his wife, Dr. Barb Allen, purchased AVTT to honor the service of his fellow Vietnam veterans by creating and marketing the Vietnam Memorial Wall, which has been included in over 300 events in the past 15 years. Today, AVTT honors veterans of every major conflict dating back to World War I.

The Harvard Chamber of Commerce & Industry is grateful to be the only city in Illinois to host, free of charge, the entire tribute--consisting of 212 panels and over 58,300 veterans honored. Donations or volunteer service are greatly appreciated.
