All We are Breaking are Stones
Exploring the ruins of ancient architecture and rapid urbanization while reflecting on loss, destruction, iconoclasm and marginalization, the multi-media work of Shaurya Kumar addresses our constantly shifting and distorted understanding of history, culture and religion. Drawing inspiration from classical texts and poetry to new media and ethnographic studies, Kumar’s work is an allegorical tale of warning. ▪
