About this Event
TBD
Asian Americans have an uneven relationship to information technologies and digital worlds: as precarious microelectronic workers, as elite Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, as cyborgs in science fiction, and even as the faces of the prophesized Web3. Analyzing Asian American literature and art, this talk explores this racial-technological affinity to historicize and theorize the raced project of high-tech innovation and its modes of extraction and expansion.
