All new Huskies are required to complete the 2023-24 New Student Healthy Relationships and Sexual Misconduct training, which is available through your BlackBoard account.

Here are the 7 steps you need to take to complete the training:

1. Log in to Blackboard Learn with your ZID and password.

2. Select Organizations in the left column and then select 2023/2024 New Student Healthy Relationships and Sexual Misconduct training: Huskies Helping Huskies.  

3. Select the Overview and Instructions tab for instructions on how to successfully complete this training. 

4. Review the Policies and Resources tab for NIU policies as well as campus and community resources. 

5. Select the Sexual Misconduct Training Video and review the slide titled Sexual Harassment. This slide contains information about NIU’s sexual misconduct policy that is not mentioned in the training video. After you have read the content on this one slide, select the “Mark Reviewed” button under the slide.   

6. Watch the Sexual Misconduct Training video. Upon completion, select the “Mark Reviewed” button under the video.

7. Select Sexual Misconduct Training Quiz and take the quiz. You will need to score at least an 80% and then you will be able to see your Certificate of Completion.
