14th Annual Showcase of Student Writing

The Showcase of Student Writing provides a public forum for students to display projects from Northern Illinois University’s First-Year Composition Program and to share them with friends and members of the NIU community. The Showcase is the perfect catalyst for engaged learning, as students can demonstrate their research integration, source materials, and communication skills through visual media and discussion with participants and showcase judges. By engaging in critical discussion with audience members, students learn more about their topics and how to better craft their arguments.
