Pagan Spirit Week
PSW is a week-long event on campus to help raise awareness of Paganism and its diverse practices. Each day will have a different theme or activity. If you have one, please wear your NIU PSA shirt at some point during the week. Our remaining "It's Just A Star" shirts are $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
Please visit our Facebook page for more specific information.
Meditation Monday:
A meditative labyrinth will be made in the MLK Commons. People are welcome to walk the labyrinth and meditate on one of a handful of topics.
De-stress Tuesday:
Come to Neptune Central to talk to NIU Pagans about relaxation techniques and stress reduction remedies. We will be handing out a limited number of anti-stress charms to interested participants.
Wodin's Day:
A series of rune-themed fliers will be distributed around campus. People are encouraged to take a strip of paper with a rune to focus on certain attributes they want to bring into their lives.
Tradition Thursday:
Members are encouraged to wear clothing and jewelry of their religious tradition to raise awareness of the diversity of Pagan beliefs. There will be an open Samhain ceremony later that evening at the fire pit at the East Lagoon with a silent auction and canned food drive.
Fortune Friday:
Come to the Holmes Student Center to learn more about divination and tarot. Free divination and tarot readings.
